GNR With Special Guests....Van Halen?

Of course there have been a million rumors about Guns N Roses going on tour this year. Who knows if they're true, but I'm certainly not getting my hopes up. Even if they do go on tour, I wouldn't pay the money to see Axl Rose with his Guns N Roses cover band.

Now the most recent rumor floating around on the internet is that GNR and Van Halen will tour together this summer. To me, this is a very odd combo. I honestly can't see it happening because I think Axl and Van Halen are too full of themselves to put up with each other. I think this double bill is a bunch of bullshit, internet hoopla to get people talking, and it worked.

If the original line up of both bands were touring together, it might be one of the greatest tours ever, but we all know that will never happen. And I'd like to know who thought to even put these two bands together on the same bill. I bet you it was someone looking to make A LOT of money.

If this supposed tour rumor is true, it would be interesting to see how it all works out. Personally, I think it's a recipe for disaster. All those egos won't last on tour.

Yeah, I bet this is just a rumor...but who knows? A lot of these bands are forced to go on package tours because they can't sell out on their own. (i.e Def Lep., Poison, and Cheap Trick)

GNR original line up...that would be a dream come true! I probably would still go to see Axl on his own, but hey, I'm one of the rare ones who thinks Chinese Democracy is excellent album. I stick to my guns.

Mmmmm.....I agree with Jay, recently I saw in Milan the Priest Feast Tour: Testament + Megadeth + Judas Priest!!!!!!!
A real huge success, despite of Mustaine's speaking (...."We have only one hour to play....sorry, I don't make the rules"...).
Nowadays it's the only way to bring a lot of people to the shows.

I think this new Cruefest lineup sucks. If I would have known the lineup in advance, there is no way in hell I would have bought tickets. I think I am going to put my tickets up on Ebay.

I am hoping that the recently announced Judas Priest/Whitesnake tour comes close to Kentucky or Ohio. If it does, I will hit that one instead.
