Right after my high from the Poison concert, I read a press release that totally ruined my buzz: Rock of Love 3...on a tour bus.You know, after the first Rock of Love, I thought he was a douche. Sure, he came off a little better than I thought he would, but the whole show was ridiculous. Then he had to come back and make it worse with Rock of Love 2. After that season, I was truly convinced that he was a total douchebag.
Then I saw Bret at his finest, on stage with Poison, and all seemed right with the world. I began to think to myself, "Maybe he's not that big of a douchebag..." He just had to prove me wrong, didn't he?
Apparently, he and Ambre didn't work out. Big surprise. Having a relationship while touring was just too freaking difficult, so they ended it.
From that break up came the birth of Rock of Love Bus. All those girls and Bret will be touring the country on a tour bus. Someone shoot me now.
Will I watch it? Of course. Although it gets harder to watch with every new season, I will just suck it up and force myself to stay tuned. Do I think he's out of his mind and getting greedy? Absolutely.
I can't take anymore of his douchebaggery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please stop Bret Michaels. Please.

you know damn MTV/VH1 they'll put anything on if it means ratings. They'll forego showing videos and nurturing artists to show this crap. It's all bullshit. The fact that MTV had to invent an offshoot station in the first place is insane. They created Vh1 to serve "the older crowd" originally. The people who grew up watching actual videos and listening to music. Now both MTV and VH1 have sunk to the depths of showing stupid reality shows. Where's the videos and new bands? F- VH1 classic and MTV2...I can't even remember to switch to them. In the end though, can we really blame Bret Michaels? He's getting a huge payday. I would sell out too I suppose. The almighty dolla!

Although I can't blame Bret for the horror that is reality television, I can blame him for turning into a douchebag. He's the only member of Poison I haven't met (I spent ALL day backstage a few years back, b4 Rock of Love even existed, and he was nowhere to be found). My fiance's band opened up for Bret a couple of years ago, and Bret didn't do his own sound check; he didn't come off the bus until the show and went right back on immediately afterwards. I heard he had a press conference at Rocklahoma this year and charged something insane like $100/person to get in. A local promotion company wanted to get him to do an after party after the Poison show and he wanted an INSANE amount of money to do it; needless to say, there was no after party. And he charged $30 for tickets to his last solo show. I just think it's insane that he's so f-ing money hungry and too cool to hang out and be a normal person anymore. It's disappointing to me because I love Bret Michael's, the lead singer of Poison. I hate Bret Michaels, the star of Rock of Love.

Second, I couldn't agree with you more about Bret. I continue to be sucked into Rock of Love, because I keep expecting Bret to look at the camera and say "I'm just kidding, I'm not really this douchy - I'm Bret Michaels - I don't need these stupid, whiney girls!" But, it doesn't happen and what a shocker, it didn't work out with Amber. Duh. And, now another one?! Ugh. Yes, I'll watch. Yes, I'll go see Poison in concert, again, and remind myself why I love him so much. And I will continue to curse VH1 for paying him money to do this slime.
